TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK

Day 01. Airport – Kumai – Rimba Lodge (L,D)

On arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service with your guide then transfer you to Kumai. Onboard, crossing Kumai River approximately 15 minutes to the main river named Seikonyer River. You will ride up about 2 hours to reach the Rimba Lodge. Lunch will be served by our own cook on the boat. Dinner and overnight is in Rimba Lodge.

Day.02 Rimba Lodge - Camp Leaky – Rimba Lodge (B,L,D)

After breakfast, proceed up the stream to Camp Leaky area, it will pass the black river. When arrive in camp Leaky, hiking up to see more wildlife such as Orangutans, Gibbons, wild pigs, Kingfisher, Broadbill, Hornbill, etc. At 14.00 you will follow the keeper while they feed the orangutan into the forest. At 16.00 you will be back to the boat then boating down to the Rimba Lodge.

Day 03. Rimba Lodge - Pondok Tanggui - Tanjung Harapan Village – Tanjung Harapan Camp – Rimba Lodge (B,L,D)

After breakfast, boating up stream to the second station called Pondok Tanggui, where you will see the babies and juveniles of the Orangutan get fed. It will take about one hour to reach this Camp. Enjoying the situation till 10.00, and then continuing our tour to Tanjung Harapan village where we can see the Malayan settlement in the gate of National park. Lunch will be served en-route by our own cook on the boat. At 15.00 you will visit the First Camp Tanjung Harapan just cross the river from Tanjung Harapan Village to see the last orangutan feeding. You will enjoy the situation until 16.00. Back to the boat then boating up back to the Rimba Lodge.

Day 04 Rimba Lodge – Kumai – Airport (B)

After breakfast, boating down to Kumai then transfer to Pangkalan bun Airport for your next destination.

Day 01. Airport – Kumai - Proboscis Tour – Houseboat (L,D)

On arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service with your guide then transfer you to Kumai. Onboard, crossing the Kumai River approximately 15 minutes to the main river Seikonyer. Riding up about 2 hours to reach the National Park. Lunch will be served by our own cook. At 16.30, continue our tour to explore Proboscis monkeys. Dinner and overnight on the boat.

Day.02 Houseboat - Camp Leaky – Houseboat (B,L,D)

After breakfast, proceed upstream to Camp Leaky area, it will pass the black river. When arrive in camp Leaky, hiking up to see more wildlife such as Orangutans, Gibbons, wild pigs, birds etc. Back to the boat for lunch and at 14.00 will follow the feeding program. Feeders will carry banana and feed the orangutan on the feeding platform. At 16.00, back to the boat for dinner and overnight.

Day 03. Houseboat - Pondok Tangguy – Pasalat Reforestation - Tanjung Harapan Camp - Tanjung Harapan Village – Nipa Palm Area. (B,L, D)

After breakfast, boating down the river to the second station called Pondok Tangguy, here the ranger will feed the Orangutan at 09.00 and it will take about 2 hours by boat from Camp Leakey. Enjoying the situation till 10.00, after feeding continue the trip and boating down to Pasalat Camp for your Carbon Offsetting program. Here you will grow one tree per person as a contribution for slow down the climate change. This is also as a payment for the carbon you had paid from the airline ticket and all the transportation you had used to get here. After you grow the tree, then going back to the boat and boating down direct to Tanjung Harapan Camp for visiting the last orangutan feeding. Here they feed the orangutan at 15.00 in the Afternoon. Enjoy the situation till 16.00 pm. Back to the camp and if it is still enough time crossing to Tanjung Harapan village to see the Malayan settlement activities in the Afternoon. Back to the boat and boating down directly to Nipa Palm area to see thousand of firefly. Lunch will be served en-route by our own cook on board. Dinner and overnight on boat.

Day 04 Houseboat – Kumai – Airport (B)

After breakfast, boating down to Kumai then transfer to Pangkalan bun Airport for your next destination.

Orangutan Tour Houseboating 3 Days 2 Nights

Day. 01 Airport – Kumai – Proboscis Tour –Houseboat (L, D)

On arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service then transfer to Kumai, seaport and the gate to reach National Park. Onboard, crossing Kumai river in approximately 15 minutes to reach Seikonyer river, the min river in National Park. Lunch will be served on boat by our own cook. We are riding on the boat about 2 hours to reach National Park. At 16.30 we continue our tour to observe Proboscis monkeys along the riverbanks. Proboscis monkeys are being the endemic animal that can be seen only in Borneo. Dinner and Overnight on the boat.

Day 02. Houseboat – Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leakey – Houseboat (B,L,D)

After break fast, we will do activity at Pondok Tanggui the second rehabilitation center where we can enjoy many babies and juveniles at feeding area around 09.00 AM, taking pictures while having the information from your guide about them. We continue our tour to reach the highlight of National Park, Camp Leakey area. It will pass the black river which is full of wildlife within such as many kind of birds, primates, fish, also crocodiles. At 12.00 is the lunch times which will be served by our own cook which special various food. Arriving at Camp Leakey, we have hiking track into the forest to gain information of the heterogen forest wildlife while observing some wild animal as well. We continue our tour by following orangutan feeding program which is being held at 14.00, bringing milk and fruits, feeders will lead us to the state platform. We will enjoy the situation till 16.00 back to the boat, downstream to Tanjung Harapan for overnight and having dinner.

Day 03.Houseboat  – Kumai – Airport (B)

Morning breakfast on the boat in Tanjung Harapan, then boating down the river back to Kumai. Direct transfer to Pangkalan Bun airport for your next destination.
